The Ophthalmology Foundation was honored to lead a workshop at the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO) in Fortaleza, Brazil, 22 August 2023.
“The Ophthalmologist of the Future” Workshop was organized by the CBO Teaching Committee and the Ophthalmology Foundation. Facilitators included Drs. Maria Auxiliadora and Helena Filipe. Topics at the workshop included: The Residency Program Competency Framework; Entrustable Practice Activities, The Ophthalmologist of the Future; More technician or more humanistic? The Role of Medical Education; and remarks on The National Examination in Ophthalmology.
